Lupillo Rivera explains that his new tattoo was designed by his 12-year-old son

The Mexican composer completely covered Belinda’s tattoo, but many were surprised to see the new drawing and even created an Instagram filter to put different faces in the design

L upillo Rivera erased Belinda’s tattoo and caused quite an uproar. Now, the singer talked about why he decided cover the face of the interpreter of “Light without gravity” with the controversial design.

El Toro del Corrido de 49 years used his Instagram account to respond to those who questioned him for his decision. Through comments on one of his posts, the singer-songwriter revealed that it took him a three-hour session to completely cover the tattoo.

He assured that the design to cover Belinda’s tattoo was made by one of his sons. “ This is how my nose designed it 12 years, ma’am ”, replied the singer. “My son painted it like this once and it was my decision.”

He also explained again why he decided to immortalize the face of the artist on her arm, stating that there are people who tattoo Marilyn Monroe.

A week ago the singer shared a video on his social networks where he showed the design with which he decided to remove Belinda’s face , however the peculiar decision caused all kinds of reactions.

In the clip of a few minutes Lupillo explains that he wanted to give his place to his fiancee, Giselle Soto. “I know that I gave my word at some point in my life, I was wrong, we are human beings and right now we have to give it to my wife,” he said.

With the news of Lupillo also came the teasing and there were many who made jokes with the design that the singer used. They even created a filter on Instagram where you can place whatever face is on Lupillo’s forearm.

“My people, thank you for having fun with this filter,” he wrote in his post, in which he appears laughing with the memes that have been made to him.

At the beginning of the month, Lupillo sought out the tattoo artist Antonio Morales to cover the singer’s face. Although the former couple never wanted to give details of their relationship, the tattoo that the singer-songwriter got was the definitive evidence to make it official.
