They were arrested 14 people , including four women members of the drug trafficking known as the Mexicles and who were allegedly involved in the attacks against police officers that left an active municipal agent killed, a ex-commander executed dead and one more wounded in Juarez City, in the border state of Chihuahua , in Mexico.
To the detainees, weapons, drugs and vehicles that were used in the attacks were seized in different colonies of City Juárez .

The first event occurred in the Salvárcar neighborhood, where a group of at least seven subjects aboard two vans executed a former commander of the Municipal Police, identified as Román Favela Barraza, who was allegedly suspended for a year.
The events took place inside the grocery store of his property, where one of his relatives was deprived of liberty.
Following these events, a search operation was implemented and those responsible were located, which caused a shootout between the agents and the hitmen.
In that confrontation, an armed civilian was killed, while an agent was wounded.
The rest of the aggressors fled to the colony Parajes del Valle, where they executed the person deprived of liberty.
There began a persecution and then a confrontation between the uniformed men and the alleged criminals, which left two more of them killed in the La Sarzana subdivision.
In another event, hours later the agent Jorge Armando Galindo López was shot to death aboard his car in the Álvaro Obregón neighborhood.
The policeman was on his day off and parked outside the house of a woman with whom he had a love affair, so it is believed that his murder is related to a passion affair and not to his work in the corporation.
About 15 minutes later, a Municipal Police officer guarding a supermarket was injured after being shot, for which she was transferred to receive medical attention.
The District Attorney’s Office for the Northern Zone of Chihuahua reported that it continues with the investigation of the armed attacks that occurred in different sectors of the city in tra of the elements of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat.
There is a record that in the state of Chihuahua there are at least five criminal groups that operate. Among them Cartel New People armed wing of the Sinaloa Cartel (CDS), The Mexicles , the Cartel of La Línea armed wing of the Juarez Cartel ( CDJ ), Los Aztecas , and Los Cristaleros ; in addition to the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) that, unlike all the other criminal organizations mentioned, does not have an operations center established in that territory but it has transpired that it is related to the La Línea Cartel.
