A passenger who fell from a ferry off the southern coast of California on Thursday was still missing as the hours passed this Friday, despite the rescue efforts of the authorities.
The accident occurred when a man from 24 years fell into the sea from the ferry of the company Catalina Express around 6 p.m. Thursday about three miles from Long Beach. The man was traveling with his girlfriend on the boat that was heading to Catalina Island .

The reasons for the fall from the Jet Cat Express ship are unknown, but the individual was seen falling from the rear of the ship (the stern), even crew members threw a life buoy at it, according to the company president to reporters.
The incident was investigated with the support of the ship’s security video.
None of the other 150 were not involved in the incident. Eventually they were transferred to another ship to make their trip. The devastated relatives of the missing man were seen by reporters in the port of Long Beach .

During all night and on Friday morning the passenger was searched in the ocean and there were few hours of hope to find him alive .
The search continued by the Coast Guard, the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Los Angeles Lifeguards.
