Fast & Furious: First image of Cardi B in 'F9'

The premiere of the ninth chapter of the Fast & Furious saga is approaching, a film that will not only see Vin Diesel and his friends return, but will also have the special appearance of Cardi B

The new movie by Fast & Furious is coming soon . Under the name of F9 , this film promises to be one of the most exciting as it will see the return of some familiar faces and others will be added. One of them is the star Cardi B.

The rapper of 28 years acts in directed tape by Justin Lin and will play “Leysa”, a woman with a connection to Dom’s past . Now we have the first look at what the renowned artist will look like.

Dressed in a completely black look, she you can see that Cardi’s character is part of a special forces. She appears with loose straight hair and makeup that pronounces her lips.

In an interview she offered as part of the promotion for the film, Cardi expresses how important she was to she see the reggeaton artists she grew up listening to, playing characters in the franchise of Fast & Furious . “ I remember when the whole reggaetón movement started. When I saw artists like Don Omar in the film I was moved , because they were artists that I knew ” She said, “I was really happy and had a feeling of hope.”

About her character, the artist could not reveal much, however she assured that Leysa is very competitive and it will be ‘that woman’, “is all I can say,” he said jokingly.

F9 will be released next 25 June in the United States and Canada, while in Mexico it will arrive on July 2 .

History will force Dom (Diesel) to face the sins of his past or to save those he loves the most. The team must join forces to face a man who turns out to be Dom’s forgotten brother, Jakob, who will be played by John Cena.

In addition to the interpreter of ” WAP ”will also be joined by the Puerto Rican singer Ozuna with a special cameo. The cast of F9 is made up of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodríguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Oscar winner Charlize Theron and Sung Kang.
