Experts ask Southern California residents to be prepared for a threatening heat wave


Temperatures will exceed 105 degrees Fahrenheit across much of southwestern California in the middle of June for the first wave of summer heat

August and September are the months where temperatures regularly reach triple digits in the area Los Angeles threatening heat wave right in the middle of June.

The first California summer heat wave is approaching. The state, like others in the western United States, is already dealing with a drought of historic proportions.

The Los Angeles-based weather service said that the Excessive heat will begin Sunday through the following Saturday in Southwest California from now on changing plans of outdoor activities and taking care of the most vulnerable people.

June is a month of generally pleasant temperatures in California, especially in the south of the state. However, temperatures could reach 107 degrees Fahrenheit in the San Fernando Valley and up to degrees in Antelope Valley , north of Los Angeles County.

In the Coachella Valley, located in the direction of Arizona , the temperature could rise up to 120 degrees and set daily heat records.
