Netflix publishes the trailer for He-Man, its new animated series

Netflix revealed the first trailer for Masters of the Universe: Revelation , the new He-Man original series. In the clip presented by the streaming platform you can see Skeletor, Teela and more emblematic characters.

The cartoon created in the decade of the 80 by Kevin Smith will have the long-awaited continuation, a 40 years of its creation. In the video of 1: 35 minutes you can see details of what Netflix has prepared for fans.

Those familiar with the series will immediately notice Grayskull Castle, which looks identical to the one in the original series. In full, all images featured in the first trailer for Master of the Universe are faithful to the caricature of the 80, something that fans will appreciate it.

Despite sticking to the style, this new installment has more detail, better animation quality, and more accurate renderings of the original action figures. Far from updating the animation, the creators focused on improving it.

The trailer for Masters of the Universe is accompanied by the song “Holding Out For A Hero” by Bonnie Tyler, which goes perfectly with the transformation of Prince Adam to He-Man.

The premiere of Masters of the Universe: Revelation is scheduled for the next 23 July via Netflix.

Production was in charge of Kevin Smith and Since the project was announced, fans’ eyes have been on it. As initially revealed by the creator, the series will play with original mythology and characters, delving into their unsolved plots. The animation studio is responsible for Castlevania , the animated series created for the streaming platform that has rave reviews.

Series He- Man and the Masters of the Universe premiered in 1983 and ended in 1985, with two seasons of 65 episodes each. The US production is based on Mattel’s toy line of the same name. Although it was originally intended for a male child audience, it conquered the female audience equally and its popularity reached people of all ages.
