“I feel that historically we have marked that situation that we prefer what comes from outside to what we have here . There is more patience for those who are not from here. There are highly trained technicians who can be in teams here. Since I am a nationalist, I have been inclined to support the players of the house “, he pointed.
David Patiño did not hide his wish that the Mexican coach, Ignacio “Nacho” Ambriz, can assume the reins of “Los Ticos” . Patiño believes that with Ambriz at the helm, “La Sele” could take a step forward in terms of sports competition.
“ Yes, that would be great. ‘Nacho’ is a great coach and without a doubt the possibility of directing a tie and going to the World Cup is a very attractive opportunity . I hope it happens for him and for the Costa Rican team it would be very good ”, concluded Patiño.
