Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Logan Paul put on an eight round show . Yes, show and not boxing at the highest level. They both kept what they promised and went home happy. But the controversy made its appearance, mainly because “Money” did not knock out the YouTuber. The reactions were swift. And the Mexican Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez did not miss the opportunity to express himself through Twitter .
One emoji was enough to reflect Canelo’s dissatisfaction with the show that took place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami . He “covered” his face so as not to see. Simple but forceful.

The tapatío faced the undefeated Floyd in 2013 , ending up empty-handed and with his first professional loss after a fight in which Mayweather brought out his expertise and experience in the ring, denying him any option. There was no room for a second fight. Canelo fell short that time.
The spike between the two flared in recent weeks, when Álvarez signaled that he would beat Mayweather. Obviously, Floyd was of the opposite opinion, pointing out that the Mexican is “easy work.”
The only certainty is that we will not see them in a ring again. We only have to relive the battle that both starred in one of the fights that generated the most sales in history. An instant classic.
