Deadly shooting at popular club Clé Houston leaves two dead; the shooter is one of the deceased

HOUSTON – At the Clé Houston nightclub hundreds of people come to dance to the music of DJs and have fun around the pool, but the fun was interrupted this Monday morning when a shooting .

The authorities reported that at least two people died and two others were injured after a shooting in the nightclub located in downtown Houston.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that the shooting occurred at the Clé Houston nightclub located at 2301 Main Street at about 3: 00 am

The Houston Police in a message on their Twitter account also released details about the shooting.

Sheriff Ed González said that several officers from his department were off duty, but working in the club as security, and that they were the ones who detected a man who started shooting at the assistants

Preliminary information indicates that the shooter was targeting someone specifically.

Investigators said at least one officer shot the suspect and was believes that one of the fatalities was the suspect.

The authorities have not released the identities of the alleged attacker or the fatalities. It is also not clear what the reason for the shooting was.
