The Real Water brand bottled water , a company of Las Vegas , received a federal order to return all its merchandise (“recall”) and cooperate with all the necessary information while the death of a person who consumed the product.
Real Water had already been subjected of complaints from consumers who filed a lawsuit against them in March after several people suffered from liver disease allegedly for drinking the water.
The order to return the bottled water was issued Wednesday in a United States district court, which ordered to stop the production and distribution of the product that has sales in Nevada, California, Arizona and Utah , among other states.

Real Water, which was accused in March of not cooperating with the authorities according to Local reports, it is sold as “premium” alkaline water and bottled by AffinityLifestyles Inc.
The Associated Press reported that the Southern Nevada health authorities reported on Thursday five more cases of liver disease believed to be caused by drinking Real Water, bringing the known number of people affected to from 16. It was also reported that three dogs allegedly died from drinking the water .
But the most serious case was that of a female Clark County resident of around 60 years that he lost his life. The woman was identified as Kathleen Ryerson according to court documents and her death occurred on 11 November 2020 due to liver failure, indicated the CBS8 channel.
Several people have had to be hospitalized and one underwent a liver transplant allegedly due to the consumption of Real Water.
