Mick Schumacher , son of the legendary pilot Michael Schumacher , was the protagonist of an incident in the free practice of Monaco Grand Prix . The young driver collided with a fence on the circuit and forced the practices to stop as a result of a red flag . The Haas pilot was sidelined from the Pole Position .

Schumacher lost control of his car on the descent of Mirabeau . The pilot stepped on the accelerator and the rear end lost traction, causing it to spin out of control. The vehicle ended up colliding with violence against one of the walls in the area . The front of the car was destroyed and even with the left wheels completely detached.

The Haas team announced that Mick will not be part of the classification . The team performed a quick inspection of the damage caused by the accident and determined that the vehicle will not be ready on time for Pole Position. It even seeks to know the severity of the breakdowns to determine if it is necessary a complete change of the chassis .
