TEXAS – A Hispanic from El Paso lived a night of terror in her room, worthy of any Horro movie scene minutes.
Ana Cardenas woke up from her sleep when she felt liquid fall on her and when she began to look around she noticed something stinging from the ceiling, which she never imagined is that it was blood.
“My apartment is covered in blood ”, Cardenas said in an interview with KAGS . According to the woman, the blood was dripping from a section of the ceiling where the fan was located. The fan was working and this caused blood to splatter onto the walls of the room and onto Cardenas’s belongings.
The woman called 911 and when the police arrived on the scene they went to investigate the apartment of one of Cardenas’s neighbors. Unfortunately the officers discovered a dead man.
The body was in an advanced state of decomposition. The forensic doctor determined that the victim died of natural causes and that his body had been in the place for about six days.
The maintenance personnel removed the fan and a jet of blood fell on Cardenas’s bed and on the floor. Cardenas’s room was severely damaged. The entire roof had to be removed and the furniture had to be removed.
Cardenas has said that he has battled with the apartment owners to help pay for the damages suffered. The woman has been living in those apartments for two years and said that she does not have insurance.
Cardenas also went to see a doctor to make sure she did not have complications from the incident.
“I thought it was a dream, and I told myself to wake up,” said Cardenas, who opened an account for GoFundMe to apply for financial aid and thus be able to pay for repairs and replace some of its belongings.
