TEXAS – The San Antonio Police are in search of a man who shot a woman who was about to enter an abortion clinic in San Antonio this Saturday in the morning, according to the authorities.
What the shooter was not expecting is that an armed person was nearby who defended the woman with bullets.
No injuries were reported in the incident, according to the spokesman for the San Antonio Police, Christian Ramos. The case remains under investigation.
The shooting occurred this Saturday at about 8: 30 am on the 7400 block of Smith Street near the intersection of Wurzbach and Babcock in the northwest of the city.
The shooting occurs two days after the Texas Senate passed a bill that makes abortion illegal after six weeks of pregnancy in Texas in the state. Governor Greg Abbott has already said that he will sign the measure as soon as it reaches his desk to make it law.
Outside the clinic there was a group of protesters when the incident occurred.

According to the preliminary police report, a man who arrived at the clinic’s facilities took out a pistol and shot a woman who was about to enter the place, but fortunately she was not hit .
One of the people who was among the group of protesters looked at the shooter and pulled out his own pistol to shoot the man who had shot the woman. The shooter ran away from the scene and threw his gun to the ground.
It has not been reported if the man was shot by the protester. The weapon has been recovered and it was reported that the protester had his license to carry a pistol.
For now, according to the Police, the case is being investigated as one of domestic violence and that they do not believe that the clinic was the target of the shooter’s attack.
The woman was transferred to the Police facilities for questioning. The shooter has not been identified. News in development.
