Ana de la Reguera is one of the stars of “The Forever Purge,” a new film in the Universal Pictures and Blumhouse “The Purge” saga. They have just released the trailer for the film that opens on July 2 in the United States and the actress is fighting to survive the new purge within the thriller.
This summer, they break all the rules when a sect of lawless raiders decides that the annual purge does not end at dawn and instead should never end at The Forever Purge.

Adela (Ana de la Reguera, Cowboys & Aliens ) and her husband, Juan (Tenoch Huerta, Days of Grace ), live in Texas, where Juan works as a clerk on the ranch of the wealthy Tucker family. Juan makes a good impression on the Tucker patriarch, Caleb (Will Patton, Halloween ), but that ignites the anger and jealousy of Caleb’s son, Dylan (Josh Lucas, Ford v Ferrari ).
The morning after the Purge, a group of masked assassins attack the Tucker family, including Dylan’s wife (Cassidy Freeman, HBO series The Righteous Gemstones ) and his sister (Leven Rambin, The Hunger Games ), forcing both families to join forces to defend himself, as chaos breaks out in the country and the United States begins to disintegrate around him.

The film is produced by the original producers of the franchise: Jason Blum for his company Blumhouse Productions; Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller; and Man in a Tree duo James DeMonaco and longtime production partner Sébastien K. Lemercier. The film’s executive producers are Marcei A. Brown, Everardo Gout, and Jeanette Volturno.
