A man of extravagant behavior who was in a Tesla car on a highway north of California was arrested this week without incident. His crime was driving in the back seat of his luxurious vehicle without no one at the wheel .
The California Highway Patrol announced the arrest of the 11 May citing “reckless driving ”After the man was seen by others sitting in the back seat of the Tesla Model 3 (1-80), on the way to Oakland.
In addition, the detained man added a charge of disobedience to an officer. On its Facebook page , the Golden State Division CHP said that The Tesla was seized with a tow truck at the scene and the case is being investigated.
Param Sharma, the man from 25 years arrested , tried to return to the driver’s seat of the Tesla , but a CHP officer observed the movement and made the arrest of one side of the road.
Driving without a driver is not permitted in California, except for builders testing, according to the DMV.
It didn’t take long to discover that Sharma, who likes to show off his alleged wealth, had been driving his car in the same way on other occasions. Even himself posted a video of his irresponsible act of driving without anyone at the wheel while putting his bare foot on the middle console.
Just in April two people lost their lives in an accident in Texas while they were in the rear seats of the vehicle.
