Three Los Angeles gang members arrested for scandalous robbery at upscale Beverly Hills restaurant


In the robbery that occurred on March 4 at Il Pastaio, in Beverly Hills, the thieves took a well-known jeweler a half a million dollar watch

The Beverly Hills Police and the FBI announced that the arrest of three men linked to a scandalous armed robbery occurred at the beginning of March in a prestigious restaurant in that city.

The incident on March 4 in Il Pastaio, in which a woman suffered a gunshot wound, went around the world for the dramatic scene captured on video in a restaurant frequented by celebrities in Beverly Hills and because of a well-known jeweler who was on site

a watch worth half a million dollars was stolen .

The authorities indicated this Wednesday that Malik Lamont Powell, of years; Khai McGhee, aka Cameron Smith, from 11, and Marquise Anthony Gardon, of 30 years. The three are members of the gang “Rollin 30 s Crips ” South Los Angeles.

The defendants were arrested on Tuesday and were expected to make their first court appearances this afternoon.

“Based on a review of security video and witness testimony, it is believed that a total out of five individuals are involved in the robbery, ”a statement read. A pistol recovered at the crime scene served for the investigation .

If found guilty, the defendants would face a penalty of 20 years in federal prison.
