The change occurs as part of the Bill 1024 of the House of Representatives, which was approved by the Legislature on 28 April and enacted by Governor Abbott this 12 May.
The law, which took effect immediately after it was signed by the governor, authorizes to mixed drink permit holders and private clubs to sell alcohol, including mixed drinks for customers to take away or home delivery , as long as they meet the requirements of the law. . law.
Some other permit holders, such as wine retailers and beer, they already had the authority to sell alcohol to go.
