Children between 12 and 15 years old can get vaccinated starting this Thursday in Los Angeles County

The County of Los Angeles will begin this Thursday to offer vaccines against COVID – 19 to the minors of between 12 Y 15 years , after the Food and Drug Administration ( FDA approve the use of Pfizer vaccines for people in this age group .

These children and adolescents can go to be inoculated at the managed vaccination sites by county . To do this, as anyone under 18 years, they must come in the company of a parent, guardian or responsible adult and they will have to present identification with photo in which the age can be verified, according to local authorities.

Vaccine appointments for this age group are available from the Wednesday afternoon and can still request through the website VacunateLosAngeles.com (in Spanish) or, for people who do not have access to the internet or electronic devices, calling the telephone number (833) 540 – 0473. However, all vaccination points in the county are also inoculating people who have not requested an appointment .
