Although there are people who tell Bryanne that she looks bigger than she is, there are certain features of this young Cuban-American girl that give her away, among them the braces on her teeth and her voice still as a child .
“I just turned 14 years,” said the singer in a talk by Zoom. “I fulfilled them in April.”
That, however, does not prevent this girl from developing and acting like a true urban music professional, as you can see in the video of “ Meloquita ”, a single that she is promoting and that already has more than two million views on YouTube.
The song is a collaboration between her, Asid and the duo GazWez. In the video, a very cheerful Bryanne shows her talents not only as a singer, but as a dancer, two disciplines that she has nurtured since she was very little. She started taking dance and singing classes at the age of 7, but since at one point it was a lot of burden for her, she decided to stop dancing and focused on singing only.
11 years ago she began making videos, such as “Moonlight”, a production in which she reveals her talents as a rapper. Because yes, his biggest inspiration are heavy artists like Becky G and Nati Natasha.
“I hear a lot of reggaeton,” he said. “I told the composer and to the promoters that I loved that music, and that’s why they chose songs like that. ”
That kind of music also brought her back to Spanish, the language of her parents, both Cuban immigrants . Bryanne says that even though he spoke Spanish all the time at home, when he entered school he refused to do so, but that when he got older, he picked it up again and it is now the language of his choice for his music career.
For now he plans to continue releasing singles along the same lines as “Meloquita”, with a bit of reggaeton, ballad and urban pop. And in about three months, he will give a surprise that he did not want to reveal; She only announced that it is a collaboration with a very popular artist.
She also continues to focus on her studies. He is finishing eighth grade and will start high school next year. Whether she continues to study will depend on how fast her artistic career advances.
“When I am famous and grow more and more every day, I think I will stop school,” she said. “But if things don’t go well I have to have a plan B.”
