In National Financial Education Month, support for businesses


The California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce offers options to help businesses overcome the effects of the pandemic

Without a doubt the COVID pandemic – 19 has had economically devastating results for both the economy, businesses and citizens around the world.

These economic effects represent a great global challenge since nobody imagined the great damage that this pandemic would cause.

In California there are approximately 4.1 million small businesses employing approximately 7.2 million of our workforce; among those companies, a 44% is in danger of closing its doors permanently.

Unfortunately most of the businessmen and citizens were not prepared for an economic disaster of this magnitude, therefore, it is imperative that all We update ourselves with our financial education in order to face one or another crisis of this nature.

During this National Financial Education Month, The Hispanic Chambers of Commerce of California ( CAHCC) and collaborating financial organizations such as Xoom and Paypal, are committed to providing information, education and tools so that all people interested in strengthening their financial knowledge participate in our educational sessions for their economic well-being.

The objective of these sessions is to strengthen financial knowledge and create monetary and implementation strategies to be able to face future economic challenges, such as the education of our children , our retirement, unforeseen expenses, unexpected illnesses, etc.

We know that, during these times of uncertainty and insecurity, it is difficult to think about creating a financial plan, but now more that it is never important and necessary to help our community and educate them on how to manage their finances. Financial education should have priority in our lives since through it we could improve our current and future lifestyle.

It is important to add that to achieve financial knowledge we must know how to balance our income and savings through budgeting and diversification; know how to balance our debts, have a review system and know how to use technology to our advantage.

That is why the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce of California during the celebration of the Month National of Financial Education, have created a virtual session entitled “Talk to Experts in Finance”, in which a Latinx panel of experts on the subject will participate. These experts will be sharing their personal and family financial experiences; They will also be offering tips and advice on how to manage your money and even how to send money to family members abroad.

Once again, this event will be brought to you by Las California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and moderated by Mr. Andrés Gutiérrez, author of the books and a popular radio finance host. We hope that you will join us for this event that promises to be of great value and benefit to our financial well-being.
