In the message he sent to AMLO , defines him as a person “very loving and very dedicated to his family”, a fact that contrasts with the fact that during his youth he was one more bloodthirsty of the narco in Mexico , close to Joaquín “ el Chapo ” Guzmán , founder of the Sinaloa Cartel and who even dared to challenge Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo , alias the Chief of Chiefs , head of the Guadalajara Cartel . In short, one of the men who three decades ago unleashed a war between the Sinaloan gangs, the consequences of which persist today.

When he was arrested in the limits of Jalisco and Nayarit , after a plane crash in 1995, his son Rogelio Palma was barely one year old. Today you have 27 and practically all his life he has seen his father behind bars.
He defines him as a reserved person who has very few friends and with a fortress in the face of adversity that, he thinks, his mother inherited María Salazar Uriarte , today from 93 years old.
“He is a very strong person, very loving , very dedicated to his family, for him the first thing is his family, he is a very sincere, very honest person and always cares about the family . For him, the family is the first thing, the essential thing; He is a very noble person, he is one of the people who take off their shirt to give it to you. If he has a sandwich, or whatever he has in his mouth, and he sees that you have nothing in your hands, he gives it to you, very generous, very kind and noble “, says Rogelio , after a press conference offered by the lawyers of “El Güero” Palma.
“It has helped a lot of people. Many people are very grateful to him, because when he has always been in their hands and has been able, he has supported them in one way or another, either emotionally or a little help , as you can, you see that later they say ‘no, help me, what do I need for the medicine and this’.
“And the truth is that we are doing poorly economically and as we have been able, we have moved forward and have supported people with what one could. ”
In a press conference accompanied by the capo’s defense team, the young man pointed out that history repeats itself, that every time his father will stay free , they always prevent it.
