The county of Los Angeles passes this Thursday, May 6 at the yellow level, the least restrictive in the color classification system that the state of California uses to implement measures to help stop the spread of coronavirus . This new step will allow the bars to reopen inside, the saunas to resume their activity and the sports venues to receive more fans in their stands.

In addition to Los Angeles, this week also go to the yellow level two other counties in the north of the state: San Francisco and Trinity . This is the prelude to the complete reopening of California’s economic activity, which Governor Gavin Newsom announced that will take place next 15 June .

The Los Angeles health authorities published on Wednesday the specific rules to continue with the reopening , which are in line with the guidelines that the state had designed although there are some slight variations .

With this plan, gyms, cinemas, amusement parks, sporting and other live events, museums, zoos and aquariums can increase their capacity . Also, the bars that do not serve food can open inside, as can the saunas and steam. All these places will have capacity limits .

Within restaurants, bars, breweries and wineries the space between tables . While until now the regulations required it to be eight feet , below the yellow level may be six feet apart. In bars specifically, people must be seated while eating or drinking and, if not, they must wear a mask.

Regarding the Los Angeles County museums, zoos and aquariums may operate at a 75% of its capacity , even though state guidelines removed any limits on interior spaces in museums. For their part, for the places of worship it is strongly recommended that the capacity be kept at a 50% of capacity or less, a similar limit to the orange level.

Some enclosures can increase their capacity even more if all attendees are fully vaccinated or have negative COVID test results – 19 . Establishments can also create sections for the exclusive use of vaccinated people, although the use of a mask will remain mandatory.

The vaccination will allow people from up to six different households can meet inside a bar , if it has been more than two weeks since your second dose of COVID was injected – 19.

For those who need a negative in order to access an event, the PCR test must be performed within 72 hours before the start and those of antigens, 24 hours.
