Hispanic attacked by COVID-19 records heartbreaking video; requires a heart transplant because of the damage

TEXAS – A Hispanic of 29 years the Houston area is fighting for his life

six months after being attacked by COVID – 19.

The virus caused his health to deteriorate dramatically to the extent that he is now intubated in a hospital bed in constant need of urgent medical intervention. Her situation is so severe that she also requires a heart transplant.

The life of Miguel Díaz, by 29 years, changed abruptly in just six months. During this period, he went from being a healthy young man to a weak person who does not even have the strength to get out of bed.

With the little strength that Díaz has, he recorded a video to share his experience with the severe effects of COVID – 19 . The heartbreaking recording where Díaz can barely speak shares his message warning how lethal this “monster” can be.

“This all started with COVID – 19 ”, Miguel says, while pointing to the machines and tubes.

Before becoming infected with the virus last year, Díaz had just started a new job.

In the fall Miguel began to suffer breathing difficulties and was exhausted. When taking a COVID test – 19 his result was positive at the end of October and shortly after he had to go to a hospital

Eventually he was discharged and it seemed that He was improving, but he had complications that forced him to return to the hospital nine times and this last stay has been two months.

“I have been diagnosed with congestive heart failure” Miguel said in the video that his family shared.

His relatives told ABC 13 that Miguel’s kidneys and heart are in serious condition and that he requires after a heart transplant.

Miguel has made some progress, but is far from a full recovery. His relatives commented that Díaz has told them that he does not want to die and that he only wants an opportunity to continue fighting.

His family says that medical costs have skyrocketed and they need help . A GoFundMe account was opened on behalf of Miguel for people who want to support it.
