Under this modality, the country has managed to obtain 14 medals : 7 silver, 6 bronze and 1 gold . However, one of the most promising delegations of recent times will participate in the Tokyo Olympic Games.

In the last qualifying tournament that took place in the Japanese capital, the Mexican diving delegation managed to obtain six more places for the next Olympic contest . In this sense they will be 12 Mexican representatives who will proudly wear the colors of their country.

Synchronized dives were included in the Olympic Games of Sidney 2000 . Since that time, the Mexican delegation had never had so many exponents in the discipline. In Athens 2004 and Beijin 2008 were 9 athletes , while in London 2012 and Rio 2016 the maximum figure was reached from 11 participants.
