The former middleweight champion of the UFC Chris Weidman showed this Tuesday the X-ray of his right leg, after suffering a chilling fracture in a match of the UFC 261 vs. Uriah Hall .
The wrestler commented through his Instagram account that currently is concerned about how long his recovery may take.
In the RX it is evidenced as broke the tibia and fibula. “The main concern is the bone pierced through my calf and skin when I put my weight on it, making sure the laceration doesn’t get infected, ”he said.
Weidman stated that despite the severity of the injury, was discharged shortly after the operation , and he is excited to d e go home.

The athlete of 36 years was injured when he kicked Hall in the second 17 of the combat held in the town of Jacksonville.
After the incident, he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he underwent surgery. There they applied a metal rod to stabilize his tibia.
Weidman’s recovery can last from six to 12 months , and is focused on doing things right to return to octagon and fight again.
