TEXAS – A teacher from the greater Houston area, who already had possession charges against him of child pornography , faces new charges after several students denounced that the man was passing as a woman to try to seduce them with sexual text messages.

Tyler Hardy- Croskey, from 25 years, he was arrested and charged with promoting child pornography and sexual act with a minor . Hardy.

According to authorities, Hardy was already facing 10 charges of possession of child pornography and another charge of sexual act with a minor.

The Harris County Attorney’s Office said officers from West Lake Middle School in Humble, Texas, where Hardy works, contacted Houston Police after the Charges against him were made public and they filed petitions to increase his bail.

“I think this man (Hardy) is a danger in the community and the bail should reflect that for the level of predatory activity he is involved in, ”said Harris County Attorney Johna Stalling.

With the new charges filed, new details have emerged that reveal the manner in which the teacher allegedly tried to seduce the students. According to court records, the father of a student of 14 years discovered sexual text messages on the minor’s phone.

The messages were from a named person “Sarah” and after Ty, supposedly the brother of “Sarah”, who asked for nude photos and requested that they do sexual acts with him via text.

The messages, according to The authorities are very explicit and had been sending them since last December to several students.

Hardy has worked at West Lake School since 2019. The Humble School District said Hardy is absent while the allegations are being investigated.
