With two homers, Nelson Cruz follows Acuña's heels in the home run lead

The Dominican Nelson Cruz continues with the bat on and does not want to lose track of the Venezuelan Acuña. At 40 years of age, he continues to show power with the wood and hit two full-back blows in the Minnesota Twins’ engagement against the Oakland Athletics.

The home runs came before the shipments of his countryman Frankie Montas. In this way Nelson Cruz becomes the most offensive player that Minnesota Twins have and at the same time, in the most veteran. In fact, he has become a slugger with one of the fastest swing in all of MLB in the last five seasons.

So far this season, Cruz has six homers with 13 RBIs and 357 of average and closely followed by Ronald Acuña as batting leader . The Venezuelan accumulates seven homers this season.

Despite Cruz’s offensive contribution, his team could not prevail and ended up falling 13 races by in a ten-ticket commitment.
