The US will grant 22,000 H-2B visas to work in landscaping, construction and cleaning

Of the 21, 01 new visas for non-agricultural workers , 6, will be reserved for citizens of the Northern Triangle countries of Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala , which represents an expansion of the quota established each year by Congress.

The Secretary of National Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, pointed out that this increase demonstrates the commitment of DHS to expand legal channels for people from the Northern Triangle, a region that contributes the bulk of migrants who arrive in the United States in an undocumented way, have an opportunity to work in this country.
