Superliga wants to reshape the project before the desertion of six clubs
The promoters of the European Football Super League announced this Wednesday that they will reconsider “the stages more appropriate to remodel the project ”, after the six English clubs that made it up decided to withdraw from the proposal.
Pressured by the fans, the crown and even the government itself, the Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham announced on Tuesday their withdrawal from the founding of the new competition.

According to the news agency AFP , this decision supposes a suspension of the project, at least for the moment, although the promoters of the Super League, with based in Spain, they were “convinced” that their proposal “fully conforms to European law” and reiterated that the “current status quo of European football must change.”
The dissident organization, chaired by the all-powerful Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, does not specify in its statement how it thinks “remodel” the project, nor does it indicate if it will within bodies such as the EU FA or on the sidelines as they tried to do.

After the withdrawal of the English clubs, only Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter remain in the project, at least for the moment .
