Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández was awarded with the distinction of MLS Player of the Week 1 after scoring two goals in Los Angeles Galaxy win about Inter Miami. The Mexican did not score a double since 2019 and in the previous season he had only celebrated twice. This Sunday he ventured and led the comeback of the Los Angeles team, which ended up beating David Beckham’s franchise 2-3.
He was left with the first distinction of the season on the American circuit, which will mean even more motivation to try to build a positive streak both personally and collectively.

“ In the end, sooner or later everything is worth it. Those who work very hard, those who persevere, those who persevere, in the end, things work out , ”said Hernández, who had been harshly criticized for his poor performance, compared with the cost of his token and what was expected of him when he arrived in Los Angeles.
The next 25 April will return to the field, in front of his fans, to face the New York Red Bulls.
