TEXAS – Three people have been declared dead following an incident of an active shooter this Sunday shortly before noon this Sunday in the Austin, Texas area, as reported by the authorities.
The Austin Fire Department and the Austin Police Department posted on their respective social media accounts that emergency crews were heading to a scene where the presence of a Active shooter on the 9600 block of Great Hills Trail near a forest.

The authorities first reported that first aid was administered to three people who were wounded by gunshot wounds, but shortly thereafter it was reported that the victims had died.
There are no reports so far of other people injured in the incident or if the shooter has been arrested.
In total 15 emergency units are on the scene that remains active, the public is asked to stay away from the area and that people living in the area stay indoors until further notice.
The television station KVUE was able to confirm that until 12: 22 pm the shooter had not yet been arrested. News in development. We will be updating.
