A group armed apparently related to groups of drug trafficking attacked a caravan of medical personnel where they were transporting vaccines against COVID – 19 , in the municipality of Tangancícuaro in the state of Michoacán in Mexico, an area where the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel ( CJNG ) maintain a battle with self-defense groups and other criminal groups.

Videos of the shooting circulated on social networks when They allegedly tried to steal the vaccines.
“The events occurred at approximately 14: 30 h hours (local time) in the vicinity of the community Adolfo Ruiz Cortines , place where they suffered an assault with firearms by an undetermined group of armed individuals , so the military personnel repelled her, which caused the attackers to flee on foot ”, reported the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) in a statement.
