MIAMI – A nurse has been arrested in the city of Miami for allegedly recording videos in which she appeared pouring threats against the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris.
The woman , who works at Jackson Memorial Hospital in South Florida, has been identified as Niviane Petit Phelps and has been linked to that hospital since 2001. According to court documents, the woman sent those videos to her husband, who is currently in a jail in Crawfordville, Florida.

The reports that some local media have had access to they show that at least five videos and two photographs were sent. In the images, Phelps is seen showing a deep hatred against President Joe Biden and the former US senator.

The woman could communicate with your husband through the JPay application, a system that allows communication between people who are serving time in prison and their loved ones. The platform allows sending videos of up to 30 seconds, according to the reports of the complaint made by the Secret Service.

The nurse’s mother, in statements to some local media, has excused her saying that her daughter was convinced that if Donald Trump was re-elected, he could have gotten his daughter out of jail. “Niviane Petit Phelps had worked at the Jackson Sanitary System since 2001. In later years, she worked as a licensed outpatient nurse practitioner. You have been suspended without pay until we process your dismissal ”.
Threatening United States government officials is a felony according to federal law. If Phelps is found guilty, she could face up to five years in federal prison for violation of Section 871 of the Title 18 of the United States Penal Code.
