William and Kate Middleton they boast of having a solid marriage, however nothing is perfect and they are no exception, this episode of their life proves it.
It is about the scandal that the future king lived with Rose Hanbury , from 37 years, a close friend of the couple who distanced herself from them in the 2011, after some compromising images of the prince and the Marchioness of Cholmondeley. Occurred in April of 2019, the snapshots that broke into the British media showed that the heir to the throne was enjoying an evening with Hanbury, in an exclusive nightclub.
The images were not very clear, however they ran all over the network immediately. In them you could see between the smoke and the purple lights some silhouettes in the background that were very affectionate. The scandal came after a few weeks full of rumors of infidelity of the prince and the former model, as the media claimed that they maintained an extramarital relationship while the Duchess of Cambridge was pregnant.
After As the images came to light, Middleton avoided any relationship with the woman who had been considered his “best friend” for a long time. It was even claimed that Hanbury had been banned from attending the royal events.
Rose Hanbury is married to David Cholmondeley and established a relationship with Kate thanks to the fact that they belong to the select club of the Turnip Toffs , they were also neighbors in Anmer Hall, where they have a mansion near the dukes’ country house and their children are the same age. All these coincidences made their relationship narrow.
Kate attended the charities that Rose did to give visibility to her altruistic work and Hanbury did not hesitate to always be by her side. In 2011 She even attended Kate and William’s wedding with her husband, always showing support for the future queen.
The great friends had to distance themselves in the 2019, when the scandal was detonated.
Now, two years after that incident, it seems that things have calmed down and the issue is not has returned to retake. While Rose has been present at some real events , the future kings prefer to keep their distance and showing that after such a scandal, it is impossible to have the same dynamic again.
