The Governor of the State of Quintana Roo Mexico, Carlos Joaquín González, confirmed that Victoria Salazar’s partner, The Salvadoran woman who was a victim of femicide after a police submission in Tulum, was detained by the State Prosecutor’s Office.
The man, a Mexican national, is accused of abusing the late Victoria Salazar and one of her two daughters.

“The Prosecutor’s Office informed me a moment ago that it was able to arrest the partner of this woman, who unfortunately died, Salvadoran, Victoria, and who generated or had abuse on her and some of the daughters, also today the arrest was made, is what they tell me, “said the governor.

According to the official records of the Mexican Commission for Refugee Aid (Comar), Victoria Salazar entered the country in early September and sought refuge on the grounds of gender.
