Srdjan Obradovic has finally been sentenced to serve 15 months in jail , after being shown that he intentionally influenced a match in the first division of Serbian football, between the Spartak Subotica and Radnicki Nis in the year 2018 . In addition, the arbitrator was disqualified for the next ten years.
The decision was issued by the Novi Sad High Tribulan Anti-Corruption Chamber, as reported Tanjug, a news agency from Serbia. The conviction makes it impossible to exercise any position by Obradovic, in the federation of that country .

The case occurred in 2018, on the penultimate day of the Serbian Super League. The match between Spartak Subotica and Radnicki Nis defined the third place in the league and the ticket to continental competitions .
Spartak emerged victorious 2-0 with two penalties in favor, one of They branded it “scandalous” by the local press. In addition, the Subotica team played with one more man on the court, after Srdjan Obradovic expelled the Radnicki Nis striker, with a direct red card.
