In addition to being able to enjoy its three delicious flavors: black, vanilla and mocha, you can do it without regrets thanks to its low calorie content
Starbucks introduced its new line of bottled cold coffee, ready to drink which you can find in stores and supermarkets.
The name of the new line is Cold & Crafted and it is available throughout the United States. Consists of three flavors: Coffee Sweetened Black (sweetened black coffee), Coffee with a Splash of Milk & Vanilla (coffee are a touch milk and vanilla) and Coffee with a Splash of Milk & Mocha (coffee are a touch of milk and mocha) .
Vanilla and mocha flavors contain calories and 19 grams of sugar, while black contains 50 calories and grams of sugar.
” The main focus of the team was to develop lightly sweetened coffee drinks, below 100 calories, without compromising the flavor profile, ”said Manpreet Cheema, senior product developer on Starbucks’ research and development team. “Choosing the best roast profiles and brewing method was key to delivering a smooth and refreshing sip, and we did months of tastings and consumer testing to make sure we got it right.”
Starbucks is the leader in this sector of ready-to-drink coffee , a sector that has been growing due to the fact that people consume their coffee at home due to the pandemic.
“When we look at… the ratio of consumers who buy other beverages to those who buy ready-to-drink coffee, it certainly leaves a lot to think about: What other needs are not being met within the category currently?” Said Rebekah Lyle, vice president of development for North American channels at Starbucks.
