The National Weather Service ( NWS released a warning for strong winds in Southern California , a phenomenon that has already caused Damage in areas of Los Angeles County .
“Look at the gusts of wind we have had in the last 12 hours, ”NWS Los Angeles posted Tuesday night. According to the agency, there were gusts of wind “from Oxnard to Long Beach.”

Wind forecast for the Wednesday
The winds that started Tuesday afternoon will continue for part of Wednesday, according to NWS . The wind warning for the county of Los Angeles was in effect until 9 a.m. this Wednesday. For Orange and Imperial counties will continue until noon , according to the federal agency .
Expected winds from between 15 Y 24 miles per hour (mph), with gusts up to 40 mph, mainly in mountain areas, valleys and canyons.
Damages in Los Angeles County
In Pasadena , a crane tipped over and fell on a house of the block 3700 of San Pasqual Street the Tuesday night. Los Angeles County fire officials said the tow truck was in place for a movie shoot.

A large tree also collapsed amid gusts of wind on the block 200 of Ramona Avenue in Sierra Madre Tuesday night. A video shows the car completely wrecked under the tree.
