A couple from Pennsylvania decided to make a very peculiar purchase five years ago, having invested in an abandoned school in the town of Mount Morris .
The acquisition was not made with the intention of to reopen the educational center, but it was carried out with the purpose of transforming it into an imposing mansion.
In August of 2020 the couple decided to launch the property for sale, but so far they have not found anyone interested to pay the $ 2, 375, they ask.
The property, which dates from the year 1965, has an extension of 14, 716 square feet and is located on a plot of 11. 43 acres .
It has four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, kitchen, pantry, dining room, living room, main room, TV room, bar, games room, indoor basketball court, gym, laundry room and garage for 30 cars.
It still has some signs alluding to the Perry Elementary School , as well as a classroom and a bathroom with the furniture that the students came to use at the time.
Outside it has extensive green areas surrounded by large trees, with several poles flag and a stone sign with the legend ‘Perry Elementary School’.
