TV Azteca’s star court reporter, David Medrano , denounced this Friday that the day before, when he was traveling with his colleagues Jerónimo Camberos and Raymundo González to cover a Tepatitlán match of the Expansion League, were intercepted by armed men who, realizing that they were journalists, they were released.
“Yesterday traveling to Tepatitlán to radio the Tepa game together with Jerónimo Camberos and Raymundo González at the height of Acatic, we were intercepted by 4 guys who pointed at us at gunpoint and when they found us as journalists they let us go. God saved us, there is no doubt, ”Medrano revealed on Twitter.
For his part, Raymundo González , who also suffered the threat, thanked the samples of support while confirming that he was safe and denounced the complicated situation of insecurity that exists in Mexico and, in particular, in the state of Jalisco.
