A Boeing 777 – 200 of United Airlines bound for Honolulu suffered a fire in one of its engines shortly after take off from Denver airport.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) the flight 328 of United Airlines traveled 231 passengers and 10 crew members. After registration the fire the aircraft returned to the Denver airport where it landed.
The images of the engine were shared on social networks and showed the fragments scattered over various neighborhoods from Broomfield in Colorado. The photographs reveal a part of the engine in front of a house. Broomfield Police shared images of other fragments of the aircraft on Twitter.

The FAA reported that it was aware of reports of debris that fell on the ru he had the plane.

The string CNN broadcast an audio in where the pilots are heard issue an emergency call to air traffic controllers. “We have experienced an engine failure” is heard in the audio.
Travis Loock, one of the passengers on the flight 328 from United who was traveling with his wife , gave jo to CNN that they had passed close to 20 minutes flight to Honolulu when he heard a roar in the air . “I pulled up the blind and was very scared to see that the motor on my side was gone,” Look said in a telephone interview. The images of the engine running in the air were released in a video by ABC 7 .
The aircraft departed Denver International Airport after 1 p.m. and returned to airport in less than 30 minutes after takeoff, according to the site report Flightradar 24 .
The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA said they were investigating the accident and Broomfield Police warned the public that They should not touch or move the parts of the plane .

The company reported that the right engine of the Boeing aircraft 777 widebody failed. United Airlines said he was in contact with the FAA, the NTSB as well as local law enforcement to investigate the accident.
“All passengers and crew disembarked at the Denver airport,” United said in a statement and assured there were no injuries on board and that most of the passengers were relocated en route to Honolulu on another flight, while those who did not want to travel again were provided with a stay in a local hotel.
For its part, Boeing reported that the plane was powered by two Pratt and Whitney PW engines 4000 and that he was both of the incident reports.
