Nahriek Belford admitted to causing a fatal triple accident that killed his older brother and an elderly couple in Middle Island (NY).

The high speed accident happened in February 2019 and left an SUV cut in half and another vehicle destroyed, killing Angelo Belford (19) and Jerome and Randee Weingarten, of 74 and 71 years.

Prosecutors say he was driving a stolen car and was fleeing the police at high speed when he crashed into the Weingartens’ van, who were going to their home on Middle Island Road.

“It was clear that the defendant intended to flee,” said Brendan Ahearn, assistant district attorney Suffolk, Long Island . “It accelerated at high speeds, passing several red lights. He is an identified member of the Blood gang. He is affiliated with the NBK group, Natural Born Killers. ”

In exchange for a guilty plea, it is expected that Belford be sentenced to eight years behind bars, with five years of post-release supervision. He will be sentenced on March 25 ) News 12 .
