Santos defender, Matehus Doria, raised his voice during the press conference at the end of the match, denouncing acts of racism against his teammate.

The Brazilian apologized for the claim, but stressed that this type of act should not happen in football.

“I apologize for coming to say those things, many people will say that they are crying because they lost. We didn’t lose three points and that’s it, but racism can’t be done. ”

For his part, Félix Torres spoke about what happened and expressed his pain at the events.

“I was expelled by words that hurt me too much. I feel beaten. It makes me sad that this is happening in football. I have no problems with anyone; I try to get along with everyone, whatever color it is. I feel affected, I feel very sad. My teammates, no matter what color I have, they love me like that ”, declared the Ecuadorian defender.
