All residents are invited to come and get tested for the coronavirus at the municipal hall of Mano, announce the State and the city of Nantes. The latest epidemiological data indeed show a “greater circulation” of the virus in this northern sector, justifies the regional health agency (ARS). The objective of this massive, non-compulsory screening is to “diagnose people who are affected by Covid – 19 and who, showing few or no symptoms, would ignore it ”. This operation also aims to “detect the possible circulation of variants”, deemed to be more contagious and more aggressive. Free and without appointment Concretely, the inhabitants who wish it, whatever their age, even in the absence of the slightest symptom, can go to the room of the Mano (3 rue Eugène-Thomas) of 02 h at 11 h. Screening is free, without a prescription, without an appointment. Volunteers will undergo a standard PCR test. A less intrusive nasal sample will be offered to the 6 – 10 years. As for children under 6, they will only have a saliva sample. The results will be known as 20 hours. It is the Bioliance laboratory which will be in charge of analyzes. The reception of the public will be operated by the municipal agents with the reinforcement of the rescuers of the Civil protection. “It’s extremely important to be able to test as many people as possible.
