Miranda Merron is the third woman to complete this edition of the Vendée Globe after Clarisse Cremer (Banque Populaire X) who finished in 08 th position and the other Briton Pip Hare (Medallia), at the 18 in place. The Vendée Globe was won on 20 January by the French Yannick Bestaven (Maître Coq IV), in a little more than 64 days.
Three more skippers in the race
After Merron, three competitors remain in the race: the French Manuel Cousin (Groupe Sétin), pointed at 608 miles ( 1. 126 km) from arrival Wednesday in the ranking of 16 hours and Alexia Barrier (TSE-4myplanet), at 2. 190 miles as well as the Finnish Ari Huusela (Stark), currently in last position at 2. 573 miles.
