Another person, whom the police found, is hospitalized
A family in South Florida is devastated after learning that a child of 14 years has died after an accident.
Tears ran down Magaly Amado’s face as she tried to understand why that had happened to his great-grandson. Terrance Valivia , by 14 years, died in an accident in Homestead along with two other teenagers after police said a car had crossed an embankment and crashed into a canal near East Palm Drive and the 28 Saturday morning.

“If I were crazy and I was setting a bad example then that’s fine, but it’s not like that. It hurts a lot because he was a good boy ”, Amado said.
His sister, Precious Fernández, said that Valivia went out with a group of friends late into the night when he was supposed to be home before midnight.
“I shuddered when I received the messages. I didn’t expect that ” said Fernández, while confessing that he had sent him a message at 2am but had not received a response.

Homestead police said the driver of the car Valivia was in cut up a police vehicle marked shortly after 3am.
According to Homestead Police Inspector Eric Rodriguez, and the car that crashed was the same who had avoided two other police checkpoints early Saturday morning.
Fernández said he had warned his brother. “ I told him many times to stop hanging out with that person . He didn’t listen ”, he recounted.

Three people were killed in the accident and one person was found outside the car in a embankment. According to reports, that person was in stable condition.
