TEXAS – During a press conference this Thursday, the governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, said that in the next few days he would be announcing the possibility of relaxing restrictions on businesses in Texas as long as COVID hospitalizations – 19 continue to descending trend.
Abbott met with a group of businessmen to discuss the role of the state with the small businesses during the pandemic.
As More Texans Are Being Vaccinated and COVID Hospitalizations – 19 Are Down Statewide , Abbott plans to relax some business restrictions if the trend continues.
“We know there are businesses that need to get back to work. There are employees who need to make their payments. There are jobs that have to be opened and we hope they can do so soon. Hopefully the economic recovery can begin very soon, ”said Abbott.

Until Wednesday, 9165 people will were hospitalized for COVID – 19 in Texas, being the first time that hospitalizations remained below 05, 000 since December, according to the Texas Department of Health.
