Meet the French classic looking to come back as electric

This is the Renault 4, another classic model from the house of the diamond that could arrive in 2025 with zero emissions mechanics.

The ambitious Plan of the French house aims to resurrect a series of iconic models, such as the 5 Prototype, but also the Renault 4 could suffer the same fate.

According to the Autocar site, the return of this hathback would seem to be a fact a few years from now as part of the electric offensive proposed by the firm.

It should be remembered that the Renault 4 was a popular model marketed in Europe and South America, as main markets.

It maintained its production for more than 30 years and achieved the nickname “Renoleta”.

As part of its success, pickup and van bodies were also derived for work use.

Meanwhile, this Renault 4 would be based on the brand new CMF-EV platform that offers great autonomy and would be the same used by the 5 Prototype.

Thus both models would be part of the electrical plan that seeks to conform the company for the coming years with multiple ecological proposals.

It should be noted that the illustrations are not official, and correspond to the work of the designer David Obendorfer who projected the possible appearance of the Renault 4 .

Pending an official confirmation, the desire for the return of this classic vehicle puts anxious to a large part of their fans.
