The Spanish rider Fernando Alonso was run over in Switzerland while training on a bicycle. Alonso was hit by a car near Lugano and after receiving medical attention he was admitted to a hospital in the area.
According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spaniard may have suffered some bills, however, the accident “does not seem serious”, reported Sky Italia.

The Alpine Renault team, to which Fernando Alonso belongs, issued a statement to report on the accident.
“Alpine F1 Team confirms that Fernando Alonso was involved in a traffic accident while riding a bicycle in Switzerland. Fernando is conscious and well, waiting for new medical exams tomorrow morning. Alpine F1 Team will not make any further statements at this time. More updates will be given tomorrow ”.

Fernando Alonso is passionate about cycling and exercises on it as part of his personal training.
The Spanish is expected to remain in the hospital before undergoing further tests on Friday morning.
