Singer Billie Eilish is delighted with the enthusiastic reception she’s getting on the charts by the new single that he shares with the Spanish star Rosalía : a song called “Lo you’re going to forget ” that is part of the soundtrack of the acclaimed series “ Euphoria ”, starring the versatile Zendaya and available on HBO .

The girl of 19 has revealed in her last interview to Zane Lowe , announcer of the station Apple Music , that the staff of writers and creatives who were responsible for shaping the song is much broader than you might initially expect, at least as far as the English verses are concerned. So much so, that the American has not only credited her trusted composer and producer – her brother Finneas O’Connell -, but also to his girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski , and even to his parents, who contributed brief but significant lyrics.

“We have been working on this project for two years. We left it for a while and only took it up again in the middle of last year, in full quarantine. The idea of publishing the single last summer was hovering in our heads, but something more was needed, a few last verses ”, has revealed about the artistic process that preceded the song’s release and the decisive role that the Catalan interpreter played to finish it off. Likewise, Billie wanted to remember the specific night she took her whole family to the recording studio.

“It was at one of our Friday dinners, we all went down to the studio and Finneas said: ‘Do you want us to start writing now?’ And so it was, I was in the studio with my whole family ”, he explained in the same conversation.
